Avatar tutorial!

Hey! One day, our teacher told use to use Gimp, but using ourselfs photos and try to make ''funny'' things with them! I choosed to make an Avatar of myself with gimp, so I went to youtube and I checked some tutorials! but there were of Photoshop, so, they were useless...so, I used my imagination! I started to play with Gimp, searching things to make the avatar look-like, using the Blur tool, for example, and I could make this photo:

cool?? is not perfect, becuase I didn't use any tutorial or else, just playing and practising with gimp...is has no more secrets!
So,practise that in home, and see which is the result!
